Clickem Inn 5 mile race report

This was the 3rd and final race in the series, which is held on a course near Binbrook.
The race attracted a record number of 114 competitors and conditions were pretty good following a downpour before the start.

Thanks to Debbie and Anne for their support.

The winner was G Thomas from Wolds Vets in 28 minutes and 2 seconds.

The club had an impressive turnout and first back in 7th place was Chris Rainbow in 30.25.
Janine Stones was 22nd and second lady in 31.55.
Mick Casey was 31st in 32.41
Wayne Kew finished 38th in 33.37
Leon Hockham was 39th in 33.39 – a pb
Sheryl Hawse finished in 49th place with 34.48.

Jimmy Fireblade also had a good run, setting a new pb of 31.23.

Andy Shelton from Wolds Vets who has been running with us recently at Well, finished strongly in 31.52.

Everyone had cause to be happy with their runs and it was great to get together in the pub afterwards for a drink and a chat.

Pleased that Chris had a decent meal of Pie and Chips as apparently “its the only time he gets fed properly when he eats out”
